As we previously reported here on eWn, Mike Rome, the current ring announcer for WWE SmackDown, is expected to join NXT shortly to perform ring announcing duties.
Rome’s potential return to WWE NXT has sparked curiosity among fans about the future of Alicia Taylor, who has been serving as the ring announcer for NXT for several years.
According to a report from Fightful Select, Taylor is set to be called up to WWE’s main roster.
While Taylor has previously announced for the main roster shows, it remains uncertain which brand she and Samantha Irvin will announce for.
Taylor has been with WWE since 2019.
