WrestleMania 43 could see WWE return to Detroit, Michigan if an upcoming bid for the show from the Motor City proves to be successful.
It was mentioned on local radio in Detroit this week that the Detroit Sports Commission is preparing a bid to host WrestleMania 43 in 2027 at Ford Field.
The show would be Michigan’s third time hosting the event after hosting WrestleMania 3 at the Pontiac Silverdome in 1987 and WrestleMania 23 at Ford Field in 2007.
The NCAA will host the Final Four from March Madness from April 3-5 inside Ford Field, so a potential WrestleMania would have to take place later in the month.
It was recently confirmed that WrestleMania 41 will take place in Las Vegas, Nevada on April 19-20, the latest in the year a WrestleMania has ever taken place.
Much has been said about WrestleMania coming to the UK in the future with John Cena and Cody Rhodes both advocating for the idea at WWE events.
This week, a representative for Saudi Arabia shared hopes for TKO to bring WrestleMania and the Royal Rumble to the country, as well as UFC events.
