Eric Bischoff is very impressed that WWE has been able to land a deal with Wheatley Vodka that sees the alcohol brand team with Cody Rhodes.
On a recent edition of his “83 Weeks” podcast, Eric Bischoff discussed The Rock’s attack on Cody Rhodes from Monday Night RAW. He said,
“He goes to take him outside and as he opens the door, what do we see? We see the back of Cody’s bus, which is wrapped with a Wheatley Vodka advertisement. Now, I don’t know what that deal is, if it’s a Cody deal or a WWE deal.”
When Bischoff’s co-host Conrad Thompson confirmed that a WWE deal is in place, Bischoff was impressed that the company landed such a contract. He said,
“How awesome is that? That’s the business of the wrestling business. That’s a big step. Alcohol and wrestling? Never been able to find a way to play together.”
Rhodes and Seth Rollins will face The Rock and Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 40 (Night One). WrestleMania 40 will take place on April 6 and April 7 from Philadelphia, PA.
