WWE Intercontinental Champion GUNTHER has reached a historic milestone on the Road To WrestleMania XL.
GUNTHER is now the longest-reigning Intercontinental Champion by any means, as his title reign has reached 619 days, surpassing Pedro Morales’ combined 617-day title reign.
Morales is a two-time WWE Intercontinental Champion, holding the belt for 193 days in his first reign and 424 days in his second.
GUNTHER has surpassed Morales with his unbroken reign of 619 days.
Additionally, WWE recognizes Morales for a combined 617 days, but other sources list it at 619. Assuming GUNTHER retains against Jey Uso tonight on RAW, he will end up passing that tomorrow.
