‘Michin’ Mia Yim has her sights set on the WWE NXT Women’s North American Championship following her win on this week’s show.
On the May 7, edition of WWE NXT, Yim defeated Arianna Grace in her first singles win on WWE TV since January of 2023.
In a WWE NXT “Digital Exclusive,” Yim spoke about pursuing the recently revealed NXT Women’s North American Championship. She said,
“What I will be doing is studying these girls, and let everybody know exactly why they call me Michin. Listen, when I was here, I walked so these young kids can run. So they gonna call me O.G. by the end of this tournament. O.G. New NXT Women’s North American Champion.”
Yim will be part of the upcoming qualifying matches that’ll determine which six-women will compete in a ladder match at NXT Battleground for the title.
