WWE Hall of Famer ‘Road Dogg’ Jesse James has shared his appreciation for Chad Gable, both as a professional wrestler and as a human being.
On a recent edition of his “Oh You Didn’t Know” podcast, James spoke about the Alpha Academy member and compared Gable to John Cena’s babyface character. He said,
“Chad Gable to me is in his prime. His resurgence of his wrestling ability in my mind over the period of the storyline with GUNTHER for the Intercontinental Championship just reminded me personally of what a hell of an athlete and a model American that Chad Gable is. I know I’m going to throw up, but I’m being dead serious. He’s a great human, a great employee, a great wrestler, like, he might be the real John Cena. He’s just a really good guy and he really works hard.”
James is hardly the only person to be impressed by Gable. Braun Strowman claimed last month that Gable is a future World Champion.
Gable had a critically acclaimed match with GUNTHER over the Intercontinental Championship last September. Despite losing, Chad has vowed to dethrone the Austrian.
