#WeWantCody has become one of the top trending topics on Twitter after the announcement that The Rock would be replacing Cody Rhodes in the WrestleMania 40 main event against Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns.
According to a report from Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, The Rock’s addition to the TKO Board of Directors in early January was partly dependent on his match with Reigns, as well as receiving $30 million in stock and obtaining the trademark rights to The Rock name.
Not many people were aware of the actual plan of doing Rock vs. Reigns despite having Rhodes win the men’s Royal Rumble match.
