PWInsider has released a report on some of the details surrounding the attendance for the latest episode of AEW Dynamite. The show aired from the UBS Arena in Long Island, New York. This marked AEW’s debut show in Long Island.
Per the report, the event drew just short of 10,000 people. Sources at the UBS Arena stated that the crowd for the Dynamite show was roughly double what WWE drew for the same venue for their November 29th episode of Monday Night RAW. The report also notes that for the AEW Dynamite show, the UBS Arena had to open the arena’s upper deck as well as having to bring in additional staff, guard rails, etc. in order to manage the crowd. This was not necessary for WWE’s RAW show. Finally, it was noted that a return date for AEW at the UBS Arena is reportedly already in the planning stages.
