AEW has announced that Top Flight (Darius & Daunte Martin) will be making their AEW Dynamite debuts next week as they face off against The Young Bucks. For those unaware, the two are only 21 and 19 years old and are from Minneapolis. They were trained by Arik Cannon, Ken Anderson and Molly Holly.
According to a report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the two men sent a tape to AEW’s Matt Massie and received an official tryout shortly thereafter. When Massie watched the match, he felt the same way about them that he did about Private Party. Also, numerous people were said to have been “really impressed” following their match on AEW Dark and are interested in working with them in the future. They’ve worked for promotions like Beyond Wrestling, Black Label Pro and AAW.
