We reported last week here on eWn that Austin Theory’s call-up to RAW was a decision that came from Paul Heyman. While there have been several other call-ups from NXT in recent weeks, only a few of them will be sticking around once the coronavirus pandemic ends. Theory was called up because they needed someone to team with Angel Garza after Andrade went down with a rib injury. Theory impressed WWE officials enough that he’s now a regular on RAW.
As far as Bianca BelAir is concerned, she was always planned to move to RAW after WrestleMania so she’ll be sticking around.
Tehuti Miles and Cal Bloom have just been used as enhancement talent and likely won’t be sticking around on the main roster. Akira Tozawa and Oney Lorcan have been used for WWE 205 Live and NXT, so it’s okay to use them in those roles.
WWE wants to keep the NXT wrestlers on NXT so it’s not seen like a “developmental league” to casual fans.
