As previously reported, WWE is interested in Ricohet (Prince Puma in Lucha Underground). In addition to him, WWE is reportedly also interested in several other members of the Lucha Underground roster. There is talk that WWE may try to pitch NXT contracts to other Lucha Underground talents during the break between the seasons.
As of now, WWE is planning on bringing in five Mexican wrestlers for their upcoming Global Cruiserweight Series. The series is scheduled to begin taping later this June. That is around the same time that Lucha Underground will end their current season.
Lucha Underground talents have it in their contracts that they are prohibited from appearing on other promotions while a current season is airing on TV.
