CM Punk’s time with AEW is at an end, but that didn’t stop Cash Wheeler from making a reference to the recently released star during Collision.
Punk’s release from AEW was confirmed mere hours before Collision went live on the air and stems from an investigation into what transpired backstage at AEW All In 2023.
During FTR’s entrance, Wheeler crossed his arms over his chest, imitating the gesture Punk has used throughout his career.

FTR are known allies, on and off-screen, of Punk, and often spoke favorably about the Chicago-Made wrestler during his suspension following All Out 2022.
FTR will team with the Bucks (who made their AEW Collision debut this week) to face Bullet Club Gold.
