The AEW Women’s World Championship match at AEW Revolution 2022 is at risk due to an injury suffered by Thunder Rosa on this week’s Dynamite.
This Sunday, Rosa is scheduled to face Champion Britt Baker in one of four title matches confirmed for the show.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Rosa suffered an injury during her tag-team match this past Wednesday where she teamed with Mercedes Martinez to defeat Baker and Jamie Hayter.
Prior to the match, Rosa’s left leg was taped and it’s believed she may have reaggravated a hamstring or thigh injury.
The Observer adds that for now, the match with Baker is still on but that a final decision will be made about her condition after tests and closer to the show.
AEW Revolution 2022 will take place on March 6, from the Addition Financial Arena, in Orlando, Florida.
