AEW wrestler Chris Jericho has proven how committed he was to not revealing who he was when in the crowd during this week’s Dynamite.
On the show, a ‘fan’ in a mask attacked Ricky Starks and hit him with the Judas Effect before being revealed to be Jericho.
On Instagram, Jericho said that he sat in the crowd throughout the show, to avoid anybody being suspicious of a new ‘fan’ appearing in the crowd minutes before the spot with Starks.
Jericho’s interference allowed Daniel Garcia to get the win, and post-match, Jericho, Garcia, and Sammy Guevara embraced in the ring.
Disguising himself as a fan to attack a wrestler is nothing new for Jericho, who pulled the same trick on Rey Mysterio and Roman Reigns during his WWE career.
