Chris Jericho wishes that he had the chance to face CM Punk one more time before the Chicago-Made wrestler’s exit from All Elite Wrestling.
Punk was fired from AEW in September of this year after a week-long investigation into his backstage fight with Jack Perry at the AEW All In 2023 pay-per-view event in London, England.
On Twitter, Jericho responded to a fan who had hoped to see Punk and Jericho face off in AEW and the inaugural AEW World Champion agreed with the sentiment.

While Jericho wishes he could have faced Punk in AEW, the “Ocho” had a very hostile response to Punk’s fight at All Out 2022 and called Punk a ‘cancer’ backstage.
Jericho and Punk last competed against each other at the WWE Payback 2013 pay-per-view event in June of that year. In Punk’s first match since WrestleMania 29, the Straight Edge Superstar defeated Jericho.
