Chris Sabin defeated Lio Rush in the main event of Impact 1000 (Night One) to become the new X-Division Champion.
Sabin put Rush away with a Tanaka Punch, the Shell Shock, and hit the Cradle Shock to score the title victory.
Sabin is now a 10-time X-Division Champion, surpassing his own record for the number of title reigns.
Rush’s maiden reign comes to an end at 56 days, having won the title from Sabin at Impact Slammiversary 2023 back in July.

And finally, Lee Moriarty joined Shane Taylor Promotions on this week’s edition of ROH TV.
Thursday’s show saw Moriarty come out to distract Lee Johnson during the latter’s match with Taylor, which allowed Shane to score the win.
Later in the show, Taylor was interviewed alongside Moriarty and he claimed that his stable has been carrying ROH for many years and that he was tired of people telling him to be humble and pay his dues.
Taylor then announced Moriarty as a member of the faction.
