Kevin Nash – ‘AEW Can’t Beat WWE, It’s Always Going To Be That Way’

Two-time WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash has explained why he feels AEW will never be able to replace WWE as the #1 wrestling promotion in the world.

Much has been said about the competition between WWE and AEW after NXT defeated Dynamite during this week’s ‘Tuesday Night War.’

During a recent edition of his “Kliq This” podcast, Nash argued that while AEW is new and exciting, its impossible to compete with the might of WWE. He explained,

“To me, it’s just like … AEW is the Staples Center. It’s a new arena, and it’s got all the bells and whistles, but all of a sudden, WWE just decides ‘We’re going to do our shows in the sphere. We’re just going to do our shows in the sphere now,” Nash continued. “That’s just the way it is.’ It’s always going to be that way. You’re never going to f*****g [compete with that], especially with 17 people in the staff.”

This week’s war for ratings saw WWE NXT earn its third-highest viewership since joining the USA Network in 2019. AEW Dynamite saw its lowest viewership since October 2021.
