According to a report by Sports Illustrated, Paul Heyman and Eric Bischoff will now be running WWE main roster television on a weekly basis.
Both men have been named Executive Directors, with Paul Heyman being assigned to Monday Night Raw and Eric Bischoff being assigned to SmackDown Live. The report specifies that Bischoff will be working closely with Executives from the FOX Network signifying that perhaps these moves will come into effect later this fall.
According to the report, an official announcement is expected to come from WWE later today. While both men are still expected to report to Vince McMahon, this move will allow both Brands to be unique from one another, a move that is seen as desperately needed by some fans.
Of course, both Eric Bischoff and Paul Heyman were on the frontline opposite of Vince McMahon during the Monday Night Wars from 1995 until 2001.
