WWE may be hoping to sign NJPW Strong Women’s Champion Giulia, but the promotion has yet to approach the Japanese star with an offer.
WWE has reportedly had its eyes on Giulia for some time and last month, it was reported that she was leaning towards signing with the promotion.
On today’s edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer revealed that WWE is yet to make an offer to Giulia. He said,
“Giulia never got an offer, at least as of a couple weeks ago. Like two weeks ago. For whatever reason, they didn’t go after her. I don’t know why.”
Giulia is in her first reign as NJPW Women’s Strong Champion. She won the title from inaugural champion Willow Nightingale in July of last year.
