In a report provided by Fightful Select, the wrestling “contract season” is expected to be up by mid 2021. Typically, the contract season is when multiple wrestlers’ contracts are slated to expire for NJPW and ROH talents at the end of the year. As you may recall, several stars in Impact Wrestling have contracts that are expected to be ending very soon as well.
There are a few wrestlers in AEW who have contracts that are expected to expire during the first half of 2021. However, we do not know exactly which AEW talents have contracts nearing their end or potential renewals yet during that time frame.
When it comes to WWE, their contracts usually expire around WrestleMania time but seem to be a bit more spread out than usual. We will have more on this developing story as we continue to collect information in regards to these contract situations.
