Shane McMahon tore his quad during his “match” with The Miz at WrestleMania 39 (Night Two).
During the post-WrestleMania 39 (Night Two) media scrum, Triple H confirmed the reports of Shane’s injury and revealed that the son of Vince McMahon is dealing with a torn quad. “The Game” said,
“Miz [and] Snoop, unfortunately Shane tearing his quad early in the match, and not that it was gonna be a long match probably, but going down with a torn quad, my hat’s off to Snoop, just picking it up and, ‘Oh, man, he’s hurt? Alright, I’ll fix that.’ He’s a natural-born entertainer.
“I’ve known Snoop for years in this environment and what kind of a fan he is, but tonight he put himself, from a respect factor for me, he put himself in a different playing field for me. I know a lot of guys that have been in a business a long time, and if that happened, they’d be like, ‘What do we do?’ Didn’t miss a beat.”
As we previously reported here on eWn, Shane McMahon had to be helped to the back as Snoop Dogg improvised and continued the segment with The Miz. WWE referee Jessika Carr received a ton of praise as she was being told what to do on the fly in her ear, which in turn resulted in her relaying that information to both Snoop Dogg and The Miz as they covered for the injury.
