Earlier this month it was reported by Wrestlenomics’ Brandon Thurston and POST Wrestling’s John Pollock that WWE will begin filming a new NXT series in India in January.
At the time, it was noted that the show will air on TV in India and will also have a “digital window through WWE Network.” The show is being described as NXT India. The series will kick off with an eight-man single-elimination tournament.
The latest on the project also comes from Pollock and Thurston, which states, there is a shooting date listed on the calendar for January 22nd with the calendar stating, “India Special”. There is also a photoshoot scheduled for that week.
