Alex Shelley will defend the Impact Wrestling World Championship at Impact 1000.
The promotion confirmed today that Shelley is slated to meet Trey Miguel at the show on September 9th, which will celebrate 1000 episodes of the weekly flagship show.
Ten days ago, Shelley defended the title against Hiroshi Tanahashi at Multiverse United 2.
