WWE clearly isn’t happy with AEW outselling them at the UBS Arena in Long Island, New York and are doing everything they can to try and get “bragging rights” with a higher attendance.
As many of you know, AEW is running the same venue one week after WWE is holding a RAW TV taping at the arena. As of this writing, AEW has 7,862 tickets out, while WWE only has 3,913 tickets out. With WWE running the event the week before AEW, it’s clear that fans are choosing to attend the AEW show rather than the WWE event.
With that being said, WWE is offering a deal for fans. The company announced today that they are offering a Buy 1, Get 1 Free deal. Bobby Lashley, AJ Styles & Omos vs. Damian Priest & RK-Bro in the dark match main event is being advertised. Also, WWE SmackDown Superstar and Universal Champion Roman Reigns will be appearing in front of the live crowd.
