The following is from our play-by-play coverage of the WWE NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver – Night 1 event:
MSK vs. Grizzled Young Veterans vs. Legado del Fantasma – Vacant NXT Tag Team Titles
It was a chaotic start with MSK hitting a series of dives. There was a near fall with one of the MSK members hitting a moonsault for a near fall. Lee cleared out his opponents with a series of strikes and kicks. Lee hit an outside dive then a kick to Drake. Carter got the hot tag then hit a double team move for a near fall. Lee hit a double DDT spot then a backdrop to Drake. Gibson with a throat punch to Lee in the corner then put Lee’s hand in the turnbuckle and Drake hit a drop kick in the corner. Gibson started working over the limbs of Lee. Carter prevented his tag team partner from tapping out, but Carter passed out as Drake had him in a rear-naked choke. Legado del Fantasma took out Gibson and Drake before hitting a tag team move to Lee. MSK hit a double cutter to Drake before they hit a tag team move out of the corner for the win.
