Here are the full results for the episode of AEW Dynamite airing on April 19, 2023.

Three of AEW’s pillars begin the show on microphones in the ring. Darby Allin says he likes Sammy Guevara, but he’s the least deserving of a title shot and Chris Jericho is holding him back. If he has a problem, come talk to him and Sting about it. As for Jungle Boy, he had to work the least to get this opportunity. Jungle Boy says Darby Allin is anti-social and he’s only here because he couldn’t make it as a skateboarder.

He says with Sammy Guevara, what you see is what you get. He puts his life on the line every time, but is still a piece of shit. Guevara says Jungle Boy hates MJF, but he’s very much like him. He respects Darby Allin more because they both had to risk so much to get over. They all want to become the next World Champion.

Speaking of which, here comes MJF. He says there will be a “Pillars Tournament” to decide the #1 contender. MJF picks a name out of a hat to decide that Darby Allin will get a bye. Guevara will face Jungle Boy tonight, and the winner will go against Allin at Double Or Nothing.

#1. Toni Storm & Ruby Soho (w/ Saraya) vs. Jamie Hayter & Britt Baker — Winners: Hayter & Baker via submission

Wardlow says he reached out to a Horsemen to even the odds tonight. Arn Anderson tells him that he better get ready, because they’ve got some serious business to take care of.

Kenny Omega has a microphone in the ring. He says the past couple of weeks were some of the most difficult of his life. The Blackpool Combat Club sent his friends and uncle to the hospital and he’s struggling to sleep at night. Tonight, The Elite extend an invitation to the BCC. He wants to see them in the ring and squash the beef once and for all. Bryan Danielson gets on the titantron and calls them a bunch of amateurs, but this is a distraction to allow the rest of the BCC to ambush them from behind.

A fight breaks out between The Elite and BCC until the latter get the upperhand. Don Callis looks like he may help, but then runs away. Bryan Danielson has brought the screwdriver for Omega. Callis returns with Konosuke Takeshita, who evens up the odds in The Elite’s favor. The BCC think better of it and get out of dodge.

#2. [TNT Championship] Powerhouse Hobbs (c) (w/ QT Marshall) vs. Wardlow (w/ Arn Anderson) — Winner: Wardlow becomes the new champion!

Immediately after the match, Christian Cage and Luchasaurus make their way on to the stage to let it be known they want an opportunity.

#3. Jay White (w/ Juice Robinson) vs. Komander — Winner: Jay White

Mark Briscoe can’t wrestle, so an unlikely alliance is formed in FTR, Jay Lethal and Jeff Jarrett to wrestle in his place. Next up, Chris Jericho wants to talk to Adam Cole.

For anyone who has followed Adam Cole’s career, they will know how much it has been influenced by Chris Jericho. Cole has a ton of respect for him. They shake hands. Jericho appreciates the kind words. From the bottom of his heart, he has absolutely zero respect for him. He thinks he’s an arrogant son of a bitch. The audacity to interrupt his celebration was unacceptable. He’s lucky that he hasn’t slapped his face right now. Adam Cole thinks he has been a jagoff.

How hypocritical can he be? When was the last time he looked in the mirror and saw the real Chris Jericho? Do you know who he thinks the real Jericho is? A stupid, immature, fickle idiot. He doesn’t want to play any games. He got his attention, so now what? Jericho says he is not a jagoff. You didn’t want to meet him or have anything to do with him, so if he’s smart, he will get out of the ring that he built right f’n now.

It quickly devolves into a fight, and then Daniel Garcia shows up to take advantage. Britt Baker rushes down and slaps Jericho in the face. The Outcasts appear from under the ring and blindside her. JAS handcuff Adam Cole to the ring and leave him to watch as The Outcasts hit Baker with a kendo stick. Referees appear to put a stop to it.

#4. Angelo Parker, Matt Menard & Jake Hager vs. The Acclaimed & Billy Gunn — Winners: The Acclaimed

#5. [Four Pillars Tournament] Jungle Boy vs. Sammy Guevara — Winner: Sammy Guevara by countout after MJF interfered behind the referee’s back
