  • Ilja Dragunov defeated Wes Lee by pinfall to become the No. 1 contender for the NXT Championship. He will face Carmelo Hayes at No Mercy.
  • Baron Corbin was impressed by what Bron Breakker did to Von Wagner last week. Breakker said he didn’t do that for Corbin. He did it because he wanted to end Wagner’s career. Corbin ran down his list of accomplishments. Breakker wants a match against Corbin at No Mercy. Corbin slapped Breakker, who smacked him back. Their slap fight was broken up by officials.
  • Damon Kemp, Drew Gulak and Charlie Dempsey defeated Josh Briggs, Brooks Jensen and Myles Borne by pinfall. Borne turned on his team and seems locked in with the heels now.
  • Andre Chase is concerned about Thea Hail after not hearing from her recently. Meanwhile, Hail and Jacy Jayne were hit on by some guys that they beat up for making fun of Hail’s age. Hail wants to go shopping next week to change up her style.
  • Lyra Valkyria defeated Dana Brooke by pinfall. Brooke tried to attack Valkyria after the match (and after she and Valkyria shook hands), but Kelani Jordan had stopped her.
  • The NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament is coming soon.
  • Eddy Thorpe’s interview with McKenzie Mitchell was interrupted with Dijak appearing on a screen to talk some trash about Thorpe.
  • Backstage, Becky Lynch was interviewed about her upcoming title match. Kiana James interrupted to say she doesn’t want her here and she should be the champion, likely setting up some interference for later.
  • NXT Global Heritage Invitational Group A Match: Tyler Bate defeated Axiom by pinfall.
  • Joe Gacy and Ava think the Schism’s tree is dying as their 4 roots have become 2.
  • Backstage, Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams talked. Hayes declined having Williams in his corner for his match next week against Dominik Mysterio. Meanwhile, in the background, Wes Lee cleaned out his locker.
  • The Creed Brothers defeated Edris Enofe and Malik Blade by pinfall. Hank Walker and Tank Ledger came out after the match to indicate they’d want a fight with The Creed Brothers next. They were jumped from behind by Bronco Nima, Lucien Price and SCRYPTS.
  • Becky Lynch and Lyra Valkyria shared a moment together in the locker room, hyping each other up.
  • Roxanne Perez spoke to some other Superstars about the upcoming women’s breakout tournament and how that changed her career. Lola Vice and Elektra Lopez came over to badmouth Perez.
  • NXT Global Heritage Invitational Group B Match: Nathan Frazer defeated Akira Tozawa by pinfall.
  • When Duke Hudson beats Joe Coffey next week, it’ll set a three-way tie for first place in Group B, so he’s looking to call himself The Spoiler.
  • Mustafa Ali told Dragon Lee he’ll get the first title opportunity once he beats Dominik Mysterio for the NXT North American Championship at No Mercy.
  • Also backstage, Wes Lee was quickly interviewed about how he cleared out his locker. If he isn’t going to No Mercy, he’s going home. As that happened, Gigi Dolin attacked Blair Davenport.
  • Becky Lynch defeated Tiffany Stratton by pinfall to win the NXT Women’s Championship!
