March 3, the date of AEW Revolution 2024, will be celebrated in Greensboro, NC for years to come as a date to be thankful to the Icon Sting.
At AEW Revolution 2024, Sting competed in his final match that saw himself and Darby Allin retain the AEW World Tag Team Championships against the Young Bucks.
In a tweet, it was confirmed that Chris Wilson, Deputy City Manager of Greensboro, had declared March 3 as the official ‘Thank You Sting’ day in the city.

Sting has said he isn’t interested in being a manager in AEW but is open to having talks with AEW President Tony Khan about a role behind the scenes.
