Here are the full results for the episode of WWE RAW airing on May 1, 2023. WWE finishes the brand draft, along with featuring the return of Brock Lesnar.

Triple H is here to announce the next round of brand picks. He lays some ground rules before confirming that Brock Lesnar has renegotiated his status as a free agent, so he may appear anywhere. The first set of names includes:

  • Rhea Ripley is drafted to Raw.
  • Austin Theory is drafted to SmackDown.
  • Seth Rollins is drafted to Raw.
  • Charlotte Flair is drafted to SmackDown.

Triple H introduces Paul Heyman, who takes a peek at the new World Heavyweight Championship before making his way to the ring. He introduces himself before telling everyone he has some business to address on behalf of Roman Reigns. Tonight, The Usos fate is decided. They did not win back the tag team titles, and he will address them in private later. This Saturday, they will address their problems at Backlash with Solo Sikoa against Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, and Matt Riddle.

He addresses the World title and how relevant it would look around the waist of the Undisputed Universal Championship. Of course, he would not be able to compete for that title because it is exclusive to Raw. The funny thing is all the kids in the back who should know better, will flap their gums about the Tribal Chief… Seth Rollins interrupts. Reigns doesn’t have to run from him anymore, nor does Paul Heyman have to pull all the strings to ensure he doesn’t get his rematch.

Rollins has a spoiler for him… at Night of Champions he will win the World Heavyweight Championship. And then the world will see what a real champion looks like. Paul is on his cellphone, so Seth gets the fans singing so he can’t hear his Tribal Chief. Rollins threatens Heyman, which is a good time for Solo Sikoa to enter. Heyman says after the commercial break, Seth Rollins will go one-on-one against Solo. For whatever reason, this does not happen and we get a tag title match instead.

#1. Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez vs. Damage CTRL’s Bayley & Dakota Kai — Winners: Damage CTRL

Booker T & Sharmell are here to announce the next round of brand picks:

  • Tag Team Champions Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn are drafted to Raw.
  • The Usos are drafted to SmackDown.
  • The Judgment Day (Balor/Priest/Domink) is drafted to Raw.
  • The Latino World Order (Mysterio & Legado Del Fantasma) is drafted to SmackDown.

#2. Braun Strowman & Ricochet vs. Alpha Academy (w/ Maxxine Dupri) — Winners: Strowman & Ricochet

Shawn Michaels is here to probably lose more of his NXT roster. He is joined by Adam Pearce. Just before they get to business, Brock Lesnar makes his presence known. He heads to the ring with Adam Pearce trying to dissuade him, but he won’t be stopped.

He asks Texas how it feels to see the only true cowboy in the state. Adam Pearce has security to escort him out, but Brock says it will take more men than that. With that said, more security guys make their way out, followed by Cody Rhodes. He appears behind Lesnar and knocks him down before being swarmed by security. They keep Lesnar & Rhodes apart.

Back to the brand draft with Shawn Michaels. The picks include:

  • Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez are drafted to Raw.
  • Asuka is drafted to SmackDown.
  • The New Day is drafted to Raw.
  • The Brawling Brutes (Sheamus/Butch/Holland) are drafted to SmackDown.

#3. Matt Riddle (w/ KO & Zayn) vs. Jimmy Uso (w/ Jey Uso) — Winner: Matt Riddle

Eric Bischoff is here at the show to pick some names for the brand, along with Rob Van Dam.

Jey Usos asks Paul Heyman why Solo Sikoa wasn’t at ringside tonight. He says the Tribal Chief has an assignment for him, so they are keeping him focused on that.

Eric Bischoff & Rob Van Dam make their way out for the next brand picks, including:

  • Trish Stratus has been drafted to Raw.
  • Karrion Kross & Scarlett have been drafted to SmackDown.
  • Ronda Rousey & Shayna Baszler have been drafted to Raw.
  • LA Knight has been drafted to SmackDown.

The Miz introduces Shinsuke Nakamura. He puts him over with his accolades before asking if he thinks he has a chance of winning the World Heavyweight Championship. Shinsuke doesn’t get to answer before The Miz says he is the workhouse of WWE, and he’d like to team up with him. Nakamura says The Miz is the king of… something in Japanese. The Miz thinks that sounds amazing, but it translates to a “guy with tiny balls”. Miz doesn’t like that, so he tries to attack Nakamura, but is struck down with the Kinshasa.

#4. Omos (w/ MVP) vs. Anthony Alanis — Winner: Omos

Molly Holly & Road Dogg are next up to announce the brand picks, which include:

  • Braun Strowman & Ricochet have been drafted to Raw.
  • Shotzi is drafted to SmackDown.
  • Bronson Reed is drafted to Raw.
  • Pretty Deadly is drafted to SmackDown.

The Judgment Day put themselves over. Rhea Ripley was the first draft pick tonight and Mami always ends up on top. They run Monday Night Raw. Also, they have some bad news for Bad Bunny. They are going to leave pieces of him all over Puerto Rico. Damian Priest chooses his words very carefully.

He cuts a lengthy promo in Spanish that I cannot translate. In the end, he tells Bad Bunny he will receive his punishment. Dominik gets the mic and is heavily booed. He can’t talk because the fans boo over him. He says something about getting to embarrass his Dad and the LWO one last time before they run away to Friday nights. Here come the LWO.

Rey Mysterio says they were picked by SmackDown, that’s how the draft works. He is glad they won’t be on the same brand. Zelina Vega is going to take Ripley’s title, and he can’t wait to see Bad Bunny beat Priest. Before all that, the Judgment Day are getting beat by the LWO.

#5. Judgment Day’s Damian Priest, Rhea Ripley & Dominik Mysterio (w/ Finn Balor) vs. Latino World Order’s Rey Mysterio, Santos Escobar & Zelina Vega — Winners: Judgment Day

Backstage, Cody Rhodes says on his way out of the arena that Brock Lesnar is human. He has to win at Backlash, because if he doesn’t, the whole idea of finishing the story ceases to exist. He won’t go to the back of the line now, or ever.

JBL & Teddy Long are on hand for the final round of draft picks, including:

  • The Alpha Academy is drafted to Raw.
  • Rick Boogs is drafted to SmackDown.
  • Kayden Carter & Katana Chance are drafted to Raw.
  • Cameron Grimes is drafted to SmackDown.

#6. Solo Sikoa (w/ Paul Heyman) vs. Seth Rollins — Winner: No contest

The Usos interfered. KO & Zayn ran down to help Rollins. A few seconds later, the show ended, as if they ended things too late. We’ll have the brand picks on the site soon. Thanks for watching!
